Emergency services were called to Shells Lane where a van had turned on its side (photo credit: Colyton Fire Station)

Police, the ambulance and fire crews from Seaton and Colyton were called to a single-vehicle collision in which a van overturned in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

The incident occurred on Shells Lane, between Colyton and Colyford, and the driver of the van reported the accident, saying he was unable to exit the vehicle after it had turned on its side.
