Home Instead Mid Devon and Blackdown Hills are excited to offer a newly-launched, live-in care service that means clients have the option of receiving full-time care within their own home.

Day and night, elderly people will have the same CAREGiver with them to perform the tasks that they need help with, whether that's support with mobility or cooking and housework.

The CAREGiver has their assigned working hours, but is there at all times in case an emergency arises.

Over the years they've seen their clients find themselves in a range of circumstances that make living at home difficult.

Whether that's a dementia diagnosis, or becoming frail, full-time care is inevitable for some elderly people. And many think that moving into a care home is the only option.

But thanks to the live in care packages Home Instead now offer, their clients can get round-the-clock care like they would in a care home but in the comfort of their own home.

When Home Instead assign a CAREGiver to a client, they take into account their ability to deliver on the individual's care needs, as well as whether the two personalities fit. It's the same with live-in CAREGivers.

They're all fully trained with the skills that make them a safe, compassionate and reliable pair of hands.

Mark McGlade, owner of Home Instead Mid Devon and Blackdown Hills, commented: "Many have been looking for an alternative to a care home for their loved ones throughout the pandemic.

"Our live-in care service offers just that. It allows people to stay in the comfort of their own home around their familiar surroundings, all while receiving round-the-clock care from our trained caregivers.

"We've seen so many elderly people in the community reap the benefits of our quality home care. To introduce further support to our clients is something we're excited about."
