JUST one Lyme Regis Bowling Club this week - the result  from the Dorset Women's Bowls League.

The format for this league has changed from the usual 'rinks' format to a 'triples' league. This change was made because of the ongoing pandemic and, will not entail any promotion or relegation this season.

The men are still busy 'rolling up' in readiness for the start of their leagues later this month, both the county league and the Percy Baker league.

The ladies put up a very spirited display against Bridport in their league clash, losing on all threee rinks but, only by six  shots overall.

Results:

DWBL Ladies

Lyme 42; Bridport 48

J Moffitt, E Sarson, L Broom 15-16; C Pomeroy, P Knight, S Rowe 11-14;  A Allman, H Dowling, P Weech 16-18.
