LYME Regis Bowls is experiencing a busy schedule with county and national preliminaries in full swing as well as all the various in house competitions.

This Saturday sees the start of our week long 63rd Open Tournament and members are hoping that the present fine weather will continue.

The Ladies had a fine win over Dorchester in their League One County match. The Men are still waiting to start their season on the June 28 with the Percy Baker league on the 29th.

In the Edna Paisley League, Lyme overcame Bridport by a single shot (32-31), picking up a 6-2 points win in the process.

In the friendlies, Lyme men had a fine win against Bridport playing away. This doesn't happen very often. Lyme were not so lucky when they hosted Somerton, losing on 3 out of 4 rinks.
