A resounding all-round performance at home to bottom club Samford Peverell and Tiverton gave Axminster Town their fourth victory of the season.

Axminster won the toss and put the visitors in to bat, bowling them out in 33 overs for 124 runs. Star bowler for Axminster was Alex Wraight who finished with the figures of 5 for 36 off eight overs.

Axminster coasted to a winning total, loosing just one wickes with opener Owen Enticott (47) and the evergreen Paul Miller (51) carrying their bat.

Axminster 20 points; Samford Peverell and Tiverton 3 points.

Axminster Town 2nds was allocated 20 points after Chagford conceded the game.
