Switching the game to the smaller 3G pitch and goals resulted in a bit of a scrappy game but the excellent Flynn Hartford scored a superb hat-trick with his quick movement and close control.

Theo Dibling got the last goal to make it a comfortable 4-0 victory. Credit to the defence for keeping Exmouth at bay.

With a new starting team, the Tigers continued to attack the opponents but went behind after 10 minutes with a uncharacteristic mistake from the goalkeeper (Ligy Alsedani). But he more than made up for it with some brilliant one-on-one saves to keep Axminster in the game.

In the last quarter Theo Dibling came on up top to tear apart the defence scoring four goals including one absolute "banger".

The Tigers conceded late on but held on to win.
