Axminster Town Football Club has demonstrated its commitment to provide sport for all by introduction a Wild Cats initiative, a national network sponsored by Weetabix.

Wildcats is non-competitive football for girls between the ages of four and 11 who want to try the sport for the first times and who want to play with girls of their own age.

Most importantly, Wildcats is about having fun and meeting new friends. Taking part also helps to boost confidence in participants.

The first session at Axminster Town's Tiger Way headquarters will be on Sunday, June 6th with coaches Miki Winkler and Sam Netherway looking forward welcoming the first Wildcats. Miki and Sam were contacted by the club when they were on teaching practice at St Mary's School in Axminster.

Further details about Wildcats can be found on the Axminster Town Ladies AFC website. The initiative has full Football Association backing.
