Axminster Town Football Club has one of the most impressive youth set-ups in Devon with teams for under six to under 18s.

As well as having youth teams from under 6s to under 18s, the club also have two girls' teams at under 8s and under 10s as part of the Weetabix sponsored Wild Cats football initiative, coached by Rachel Burrough and Kat Lambert (see team photos).

The Tigers' senior team finished this season in a creditable sixth place in the South West Peninsular League Premier East Division, the highest level the club has ever playing in. The club did not field a Reserve side last season but put out an under 18 side in the South West Midweek Floodlit League, managed by Sam Dibling with a view to Bri king through talented young local players who could well be challenging for first team places in the future.

The club is reforming its reserve side next season and it is rumoured they will be entering the Perry Street League which again will be managed by Dibling whose eldest son Tyler, a former Millwey Rise player, has signed professional football for Southampton and is considered to be one of the country's most promising talents.

Axminster's Under 15s team finished the season on a high with a 5-1 victory over Heavitree in the Plate Cup final.
