Millwey Rise 1sts 5, Colyton 2nds 1

This was another nother good win for Millwey, making it three in a row which is 'very pleasing' according to manager Mark Turner.

Rise got off to a flying start with Luke Thurlow scoring seconds into the half with a cross-come-shot that deceived the keeper. He then went on to complete his well taken hat-trick inside 20 minutes. Shane Featherstone then headed home another to make it four at half-time.

The second period became more evenly balanced with Colyton pulling a goal back.

Millwey began making in-roads into the Colyton defence with both Nathan Womersley and Thurlow hitting the upright. Womersley eventually put the game to bed adding Millwey's fifth with a delightful lob over the keeper,

This was an all-round, satisfying performance by Rise with Luke Thurlow taking the man-of-the match award.

The victory sees Millwey in fifth place in the Devon and Exeter Division Four.
