Colyton cemented their second spot in the Devon and Exeter League Premier division with an emphatic 7-0 victory over second from bottom Okehampton Argyle 2nds

With 11 games played, the Tanners trail leaders, Alphington, by nine points and have a two-point lead over third placed Lyme Regis who have two games in hand. After that, three teams - University of Exeter 2nds, Kentisbeare and Clyst Valley 1sts - are all on 16 points.

Leading 2-0 at half-time, Callum Somers was Colytin;s man-of-the-match with four goals yo his credit with Jake Richards, Ross Broom and Johndrick Gangoso also getting on the score sheet.

This coming Saturday, Colyton are at home to Kentisbeare (2.15pm kick-off).

It wasn't;t such a good afternoon for Colyton 2nds who were beaten 5-2 at home to Culm United in Division Four. The Colyton goals came from Archie Close and Nathan Maddocks and Jason Webber won the man-of-the-match accolade.

On Saturday, the Reserves are away to Sidmouth 3rds, who lie in fourth place.
