After a tough game on Sunday Seaton Town Ladies were raring to go for a midweek friendly against Ilminster Reserves.

Seaton fielded a full squad of 16 giving them plenty of options.

An evenly opened first half showed both teams physical strength and shape in the game. A cross from the wing resulted in a goal from Lara Spiers after a rebound from an Illminster defender.

The second half started with Seaton leading 1-0 and both teams had the chance to win the game with some near misses.

Illminster's efforts were awarded when they evened the score sheet at 1-1. And after much battling that's how the score finished.

Seaton manager, Hayley Moxom awarded the woman-of-the-match to centre-back Jemima Coleman.

Seaton Ladies next game will be at home to HT Dons on Sunday (September 13th, kick-off 2pm).
