Double hat-tricks as Axminster Town Reserves progress in East Devon Senior Cup

Axminster Town Reserves last evening booked a place in the second round of the East Devon Senior Cup with. a resounding 7-2 victory against Clyst Valley 2nds.

The victory came courtesy of two hat-tricks from Jon Hurford and Tom Edwards.

The Tigers have been drawn at home to Newtown in the second round, the side which won the cup the last time it was played for in 2019.

On Saturday the Reserves are away to Colyton in the. Devon and Exeter Premier division (kick-off 2/15 pm).
