Colyton moved into second place in the Devon and Exeter Premier division with a 3-2 victory over Sanford on Saturday.

The Tanners moved above Lyme Regis who were on county cup duty. Colyton now have a two-point lead over the Seasiders who have two games in hand.

Although there was little between Colyton and Sanford in the first half, goals from Callum Somers, Jake Richard and an own goal secured the points.

In Division Four, Colyton Reserves won 4-2 away tom Exeter United with goals coming from Nathan Maddocks and Kizn Bedwell who both grabbed a brace.

This coming Saturtday Colyton 1stscare away to strugglers Okehampton Argyle whilst the Reserves are at home to Culm United (kick-off 2.15 pm).
