Colyton are losing ground in their bid to stay in touch with the top three in the Devon and Exeter Premier division, having lost 3-2 at Sidmouth Town 2nds.

The Tanners are hanging on to fourth place on 31 points, the same number as near rivals Lyme Regis, although the Seasiders have a game in hand.

Alphington are running away with the title with 55 points from 20 games and Exeter University 2nds and Kentisbeare are fighting it out for third spot.

Against Sidmouth Colyton's goals came from Ross Broom and George Richards with Broom getting the man-of-the-match award.

Colyton Reserves were went down 4-2 at home to Cullompton Rangers. their goals coming from Kian Bedwell and Archie Clode. The man-of-the-match went to Heath Parsons.

Colyton 1st team don't have a league game this coming weekend but the Reserves are at home to Budleigh Saltertin 2nds (kick-off 3pm).
