Colyton have jumped back into fourth place in the Devon and Exeter Premier division with a 5-2 victory over Clyst Valley.
It was all square at 1-1 at half time , but the Tanners took control after the break, their goals coming from Bobby Henderson (2), Kian Bedwell, Ross Broom and Callym Summers. Henderson was named man-of-the-match.
Colyton leapfrogged over close rivals Lyme Regis whose game against top of the league Alphington was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The Tanners now have a two-point lead over the. Seasiders but Lyme have a game in hand. Alphington stay at the top with a 11-point lead over Kentisbeare in second place with University of Exeter 2nds in third place.
Colytpon, who have three more games left this season, are without a league match this coming Saturday. Their next game is at hime to Elmore on Saturday, April 29 (kick-off at 3 pm). Elmore are in sixth place just three points behind Colyton, but they have eight games in hand and could well push the Tanners out of the top four in they win all their games.
