Axminster Town going all out to beat last season's best ever place
Axminster Town going all out to beat last season's best ever place

With ten games left to play Axminster Town supporters can expect an exciting end to the season.

After the 1-0 victory at home to Holsworthy last Saturday, courtesy of the Charlie Wilson goal, the Tigers will be endeavouring to win the rest of their games to beat last year's record position of sixth place. Wilson got the man-of-the-match award, presented by loyal supporter Alan Taylor.

Currently the Tigers stay sixth on the same number of points as Newton Abbot Spurs (47) but they have a game in hand. It's going to be difficult to go any higher because of the points difference with the top four sides.

On Saturday Axminster travel to Plymouth Marjon who are 16th in the table, having won just six of their 31 games.
