UPLYME and Lyme Regis collected only nine points from their Devon Cricket League C Division East fixture despite posting 223 runs after winning the toss and choosing to bat at Teignmouth and Sheldon.
Opener Andrew Harrison (81) and No 3 Joe Elsworth (51) gave Uplyme a good start and with 148 runs on the board with just one wicket down they looked to be heading for a healthy total. Tyler Wellman added 29 but the home attack kept things tight but none of the lower order made any significant contribution.

Uplyme's bowling soils were shared by Lahiru Abeywickrama, Tyler Wellman and Preston Hills.
The defeat saw Uplyme drop to seventh in the table. This coming Saturday they are at home to fourth placed Exmouth and tonight (Wednesday) meet Upottery in the East Devon Basin T20 competition.
