Competing in Division One of the Exeter Tennis League for the first time, Seaton Men's A pulled off a historic first ever win in the top flight of East Devon Tennis.

Undaunted after a recent crushing 8 - 0 defeat at the the hands of David Lloyd Exeter, the team bounced back with a hard fought 6 - 3 win against strong opposition from Sampford Peverell.

Skipper, Barry Follett (62) said: "It's going to be a tough season, but I'm so proud of the team for achieving this result even with Simon, our club chairman, playing as third reserve on the night."
