Culm United 0, Millwey Rise 5

A good all-round performance but Millwey Rise started off quite slowly in the first quarter and Culm had opportunities to take the lead.

This changed 20 minutes in when Luke Thurlow was fouled inside the area and from the resultant penalty Nathan Womersley put Rise ahead. Ten minutes later the same player rounded the keeper to slot home Millwey's second.

After the break, Millwey started on the front foot and Womersley soon took the opportunity to grab his hat-trick.

Two further goals, both added by Jack Bennett to continue his recent run of goals for the Reserves.

The victory was built on a solid performance at the back from Matt Hall, Imran Chowdhury, Ben Webb, and Nathan Hoole. The midfield ensured there was no repeat of last week's breakdown with Sam Turner pulling the strings.

Overall, this was a good 5-0 win, leaving Millwey in sixth place in the Devon and Exeter League Division Four.

Next week's opponents at Cloakham are high- flying Cranbrook 1sts (kick-off 3pm).
