Elberton Villa Under 18s 7, Axminster Town Under 18s 1

The young Tigers travelled down to Plymouth to play their quarter final game in the Devon Cup and without a number of regulars, it gave opportunity for some other players to show what they are made of.

Axminster competed very well in the early stages and went in at half-time at 2-1 down thanks to a goal from Owen Dibling but still in the game.

Unfortunately, a few injuries and tired legs didn't help in a poor second half display the Tigers'layers of the future were beat convincingly in the end.

Man of the match was stand-in centre back Mason Doble . The lads had done well to get to the quarter finals after a tough first season.

The next home game is tomorrow (Thursday) versus Welton Rovers Under 18s (kick-off 7.30pm).
