Tigers started strongly and took took an early lead through a Ben Fox free-kick, which evaded the visiting defence and found the corner.

As the half wore on, Frome came back into the game and scored two quick goals to taken a 2-1 at half time.

With a few changes at half-time Axminster came back strong and midway through the second half got a deserved equaliser through captain for the day Tom Symons. His left-foot strike just inside the box found the bottom corner.

With both teams pushing for the winner, it was Axe looking the most likely, but a quick attempted goal kick fell to a Frome striker to clinch the points late in the game.

This was another great effort by the Axminster lads, especially in the second half. Man-of-the-match went to goalscorer Tom Symons.

The Under 18s' next game is home to Welton Rovers on Wednesday (kick-off 7.30pm).
