Axminster Town's impressive start to the season continued last night 9Wednesday) with a 7-0 victory over Elmore in the St Luke's Bowl.

Two of the goals came from Jamie Girton, one from the penalty after Rich Hebditch had been brought in the box.

Chris McGrath and Hebditch also netted before the Tigers went in at half-time with a 4-0 lead.

In the second half Charlie Wilson and Sam Winslade got on the score sheet with the scoreline completed by an own goal after some good work from Girton.

This coming Saturday, Axminster, who occupy sixth place in the South West Peninsular Premier East, are at home to Bovey Tracey in 15th place (kick-off 3 pm).
