Axminster and Seaton Nub News are running a series of photo teams down the ages. This is being co-ordinated by sports correspondent Dick Sturch, himself a keen sportsman in his younger days who writes regularly for Nub News. If you have a pic of a team you played in please get in touch with Dick who will be writing to all local club secretaries for help.

Our first Rolling Back the Years pic features Axminster Town Youth Team, taken in 1964 which appeared in Pulman's Weekly News after the Tigers beat Honiton Youth 3-1 in the final of the Clubman Cup. Axminster are in the foreground with Honiton behind.
