Perry Street League clubs are being consulted over whether they want to call a close to the 2020-2021 season.

Local football has been given the go-ahead to re-start the current season from March 19th.

The South West Peninsular League, in which Axminster Town play, has decided to void the season, but the Devon & Exeter League is planning to start the season again with clubs which don't think they can complete all their fixtures being able to drop out out without paying a penalty.

The Perry Street League management committee have decided to abandon the season but the decision has to be ratified by clubs at a special general meeting on March 18th.

If the season is scrapped there is a possibility some mini-leagues may be set up to provide some organised football before next season.
