Conceding a goal in the final minute of the first half and the final minute of the second period sealed Millwey's fate.

Rise began playing some attacking football and from a clearance by their young keeper Flynn Smith Robbie Prior fired a shot just past the upright.

Tedburn were a strong, physical side and used this to good advantage against the home team's youngsters. In a goalmouth scramble Millwey's keeper Smith bravely disappeared under a pile of players in a scramble to get the ball and fortunately survived the ordeal. Play went back and forward with few significant chances being created. The nearest Millwey came was a shot by Sam Beviss which flew just over the bar. Then, as the referee was about to blow and bring the half to a close, Tedburn broke away and scored.

For most of the second period Millwey were attacking their opponents goal but, although the shots rained in with Ben Rosling hitting the post and two Ashley Hall headers just over the bar, no goals were forthcoming.

Rise then made a couple of substitutions. One of these was Corban Wilson who quickly made an impression on the right with his pace which nearly produced a goal when his shot skimmed the bar but another break away in the last minute of the half saw Tedburn put the ball in the Rise net for their second goal.

Manager Terry Male said after the game: "I think the lads did very well and the young players are learning very quickly with each game what mens' football is all about. My player of the match award went to defender Bogdan Tudor in defence."
