Millwey Rise 2nd X1 3, Hemyock 2nd X1 2
Hemyock began the game attacking at every opportunity and apart from hitting the upright also had two corners but could not make them count.
Play quickly swung to the other end and Millwey had five corners within a short space of time but like their opponents reaped no reward and the teams went in at half-time with honours even.
Things quickly changed when a corner for Rise at one end led to a Hemyock breakaway from which they scored to take the lead ten minutes into the second period.
Soon after changes were made and Millwey equalised from a well worked free kick which was fired home by Cam Board. Hemyock had the opportunity to re-take the lead but a poor finish denied them but a few minutes later they did move in front 2 - 1.
Millwey' again equalised when a great Alex Osborne corner kick was headed home by Jack Bennett. Further changes brought more pressure on the Hemyock defence but opportunities from corners and chances were spurned. It was not until the final minutes that Rise kept their winning run intact when Bennett fired home the winner.
This was a workmanlike effort from'Rise that kept the spectators on tenterhooks until the end. Although the introduction of Shane Featherstone in the second half changed the pattern of the game. the management eam's choice for man-of -the match was central defender Imram Chowdhury.
