All eyes at Tiger Way will on Axminster Town's new Under 18 side

With no reserve team for the coming season at Tiger Way, the spotlight will fall on Axminster Town's newly-formed Under 18 side.

The Tigers are putting great faith in their youth programme to build a strong base for the future with Sam Dibling taking charge of the Under 18s, which will play in the Somerset Mid-week floodlit league.

Dibling was delighted with the response from potential players. He said: "On our first session we had 22 players and, on the second 23 players, which is fantastic for a new team.

"If anyone is still interested in playing, please contact meon 07387 263438, Our first friendly game is on July 30 at Tiger Way (3pm kick off). Training is every Monday evening 6.30-8pm. 

*Axminster Town's annual general meeting has been scheduled for Monday, July 18, starting at 7.30pm. All members, patrons and friends are invited to attend. Positions up for election include chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary, fixtures and registration secretary and five committee members.
