Colyton are through to the second round of the Morrison Bell Cup, having beaten Tipton Set John 2-0 on Thursday of last week.
The Tanners' goals came from Kieron Quigley and man-of-the-match George Richards.
The Tanners' first team did not have a fixture on Saturday but the Reserves were in good form in the Devon and Exeter League Division Four with a 5-1 victory over Culm United who sat one place above them in the table.
Colyton's goals came from Kiam Bedwell (2), Bobby Henderson, Tom Brown and Billy Knox. Henderson was named man-of-the-match.
Tomorrow (Thursday) Colyton will be trying to jump above near rivals Lyme Regis in the Premier Division with a trip to Elmore 2nds, down in eighth place but with only 11 games played, and on Saturday they will be home to Clyst Valley 1sts who are in seventh place.
Lyme are at home to top off the table Alphington and if they lose Colyton could move into fourth place in the Premier table if they return home from Elmore with three points and beat Clyst.
*Seaton Town, who dropped down from the Premier division to Devon and Exeter Division Three at the beginning of the current campaign, have enjoyed a reasonable season and sit in fourth place in the table with six games left to play. On Saturday they are at home to eighth placed Bravehearts (kick-off 3pm).
