After losing three game on the trot, Colyton returned to winning form with a 2-1 win over Devon and Exeter Premier League opponents Lyme Regis.

Colyton have a good record over the Seasiders, having beat them in the first match of the season, and the three points took them to third place in the Premier division, trailing leaders Aphington and second placed University of Exeter .

The Tanners went in at half-time trailing 1-0 but goals from Callum Somers and Kian Bedwell in the second half sealed the points. Man-of-the-match went to Freddie Bennett.

Frozen witches played havoc with local football over the weekend with a number of games being postponed, Included Colyton 2nds home fixture.
