Axminster Reserves continued their high-scoring form with a 7-0 victory over Pinhoe 1st on Saturday following a 9-1 win over East Budleigh the previous week.

Saturday's kick-off was delayed to 4.30pm so as not to clash with the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh.

Pinhoe were no match for the fleet-footed Tigers and were trailing 3-0 at half-time, the Axminster goals coming from Joe Jones (2) and Charlie Wilson.

It was all one-way traffic after the break with man-of-the-match Lewis Waldy scoring twice and goals from Kyle Williams and Tony Pinder.

Manager Dan Prettejohn was particular impressed by Waldy who controlled the midfield throughout.

The Tigers second string don't have a fixture this coming weekend. Their next fixture at Tiger Way will be against Exeter United on May 1st.

The Reserves have been drawn at home to close neighbours Millwey Rise in the Devon Senior Cup on May 5th (kick-off 6.30pm).
