Axminster Reserves 7-1 victory over Ottery

Axminster Reserves chalked up their third victory of the season with a comprehensive 7-1 victory over Devon and Exeter Premier division bottom club, Ottery St Mary.

The win sees the Tigers in seventh place in the table, just one point behind old rivals Lyme Regis, both having played eight games.

Highlight of the home match against Ottery was the performance of Aaron David who scored a hat-trick to win the man-of-the-match award.

The other scorers were: Jonny Hurford, Ryan Vickery, Tom Edwards and Jamie Barefoot.

The Reserves' next league match will be away to Clyst Valley 2nds on Wednesday, November 3rd (kick-off 7.30 pm).

Axminster Town 1st team were without a fixture on Saturday. Tomorrow (Wednesday) there travel to Elmore who are six places below the Tigers in the South West Peninsular Premier East Division.
