LAST season's East Devon Bash T-20 finalists, Upottery Swingers and Uplyme Muffin Men, met in week three of this year's competition, jointly sponsored by LymeOnline and Nub News.

The Swingers were triumphant over the Muffin Men on that occasion but Uplyme regained some pride with a two-wicket victory at home to Upottery.

The visitors won the toss and elected to bat, setting a score of 158-6 off the 20 overs. Top scorer for the Swingers was Alex Cist (44 not out), well supported. by Matt Broom and Ben Kidson who both scored 40.

Sam Farrow was the Muffin Men's most successful bowler, finishing with figures of 2 for 4 off two overs.

In reply Uplyme reach a winning score with three wickets left. Jack Lamb-Wilson was top scorer on 32 with good support coming from Steve Batey (29 not out), Joe Elsworth (21), Tyler Wellman (20) and Sam Farrow (18).

Ryan Pulman was the top Upottery bowler with figures of 2-32. off 3.2 overs.

Kilmington Kestrels made light work of their six-wicket away victory over the Ottery Super Beavers.

Ottery won the toss and elected to bat but were restricted to 129-4. No 3 Jonathan Tiner (48 not out) and Adrian Pullin (36 not out) were their two top batters. Dean Willis, Oliver Reed and Josh Cann shared the bowling spoils.

The Kestrels strolled to a victory total of 133 for 3 with the club's Australian overseas player Sam Cuconits (60) and Joel Seward (46 not out) steering them to victory. Ben Major took two of the three wickets to fall, conceding 22 runs in the process.

In the third Week 3 fixture Seaton Pirates enjoyed a comfortable win away to the Sidbury Moles.

The home side won the toss and decided to bat, setting a target of 150-6. Star of their innings was opening Mark Bishop who smashed 75 runs including eight fours and four sixes. Oliver Paget weighed in with 19 useful runs. Fin Copp (2 for 17 off three overs) and Thomas Brown (2 for 24 off three overs) were the star bowlers.

In response the Pirate knocked off the required runs for the loss of five wickets, having been given a good start by openers Adam Bilston (55) and Toby Tucker (41).

Matt Ogley was the Moles' best bowler, finishing with figures of 3 for 21 off three overs.
