Kilmington slipped off the top of the Devon Cricket League A Division after being bowled out for just 92 runs against Torquay 1st X1.

Torquay won the toss and put KIlmington into bat but they were all back in the pavilion in just under 30 overs. The only defiance came from skipper Matt Rocket (40) and Joel Seward (not out 20). None of the other batters reached double figures with of four of them not troubling the scorers at all

John Nott and Chris Kelmere were the stars of the home attack, both taking four tickets apiece.

Torquay knocked off the required runs without losing a wicket with opener Ruan Terblanche hitting 67.

B DIVISION

Seaton 1st X1's batting failed them at home to Bovey Tracey 1sts who bowled them out for 135 in 27 overs.

Seaton won the toss and put the visitors into bat. Runs were not easy to come by but a knock of 59 from Jonah Serong and 33 from Ryan Jones set them on course for a score of 201-9. Damien Baxter was Seaton's most effective bowler returning figures of 3 for 33 off seven overs.

In rely, Seaton struggled for runs and were bowled out for 135 with Max Johnson top scoring with 29.

Seaton 1st X1 7 points; Bovey Tracey 1st X1 20 points.

C DIVISION EAST

UPLYME and Lyme Regis moved into third place with a comfortable six wicket victory at Sidmouth 2nds.

Sidmouth won the toss and decided to match but found the Uplyme attack in uncompromising mood, bowling them out for just 122 runs in 37 overs. Man who did all the damage with the ball was Steve Batey, who claimed four victims for the loss of 30 runs off eight overs. Lahiru Abeywickrama and Alfie Jacques both weighed in with two overs a piece giving away just 20 runs between them.

Uplyme coasted to a six-wicket victory to win maximum points, losing just four wickets along the way. Top scorers was Australian overseas player Preston Hilless (44) with Joe Elsworth (23 not out) and Alfie Jacques (21) made useful contributions.

Uplyme moved into third place in the table, having won three out of six fixtures, five points behind second placed Braunton.

Sidmouth 2nd X1 5 points; Uplyme and Lyme Regis 20 points.
