WIN £125 FOR YOUR CRICKET CLUB

Seaton Nub News is offering the chance for local cricketers to win £125 in cash for their club.

Nub News will be giving full coverage of the Axminster Seaton, Kilmington, Chardstock and Uplyme & Lyme Regis clubs in the Devon Cricket Mini-Leagues.

We will be keeping full bowling and batting statistics of the above clubs and we are offering a cash prize of £125 for the batsmen from the above teams who scores the most runs in the league matches and a similar amount to the bowlers who take the most wickets.

As well as the cash prizes, a trophy will be presented to the two winners.

After Week 1, these are the top batting and bowling performances:

BATTING: 1 – Tyler Wellman, Uplyme & Lyme Regis, 100; 2 – Steve Batey, Uplyme & Lyme Regis, 82; 3 – John Short, Kilmington, 78; 4 – David Murnane, Axminster, 40; 5 – Tom Olive, Kilmington 21.

BOWLING: 1 – Ben Morgan, Seaton, 4 wickets; 2 – Tom Olive, Kilmington, 3 wickets; equal 2 –Robin Ellis, Axminster, 3 wickets.
