As we look towards the Christmas holidays Re:store Axe Valley CIC is working with individuals in the community, SAVE Food Hub and local businesses such as Pebbles Café, Squirrel, Natural Worx and Owl & Pyramid to bring some Christmas cheer to those families in the local community who may be in need of support in these difficult and challenging times.

A crowdfunding campaign has been set up to help those in need, and with the generous support of the community and Devon County Council £1,930 of the £2,000 target has been reached to date.

Opening Seaton's new outdoor gym - Dave Cook, senior engineer for EDDC, Cllr Dan Ledger and Cllr Jack Rowland

The first day of the new tier system saw the opening of a new outdoor gym in Seaton's Seafield Gardens.

The £15,000 cost of the new equipment was funded by Seaton Town Council and will be maintained, going forward, by East Devon District Council.

Devon MPs Neil Parish, Simon Jupp and Ben Bradshaw are among those hoping the county will be in Tier 1

MPs from across Devon are united in their relief that England's second national lockdown won't be extended – and all are calling for the county to be placed into the lowest tier of restrictions.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson told the Commons on Monday that the three-tiered regional measures will return from December 2 and the lockdown will end, but he added that each tier will be toughened.
