Seaton - a small town with a big reputation

Seaton's reputation as a holiday resort has received a welcome boost with an extensive editorial feature in the November issue of Coach Tours UK magazine which is read by all country-wide operators.

Seaton prides itself on welcoming coach tours and the town council on its website says they are proud that Seaton has been recognised as a tourist destination in the magazine.

The magazine's commercial editor Matthew Inglis undertook what he described as "a fact-find mission to the beautiful seaside resort of Seaton".

Mr English draws attention to Seaton's "coach friendly town status", describing the town as having "stunning coastal views, charming and full of splendid Victorian buildings".

He also says that the welcome for visitors is "one of the warmest you can expect from anywhere in the UK.

"The town has plenty to offer and the natural landscape lends itself to getting out and enjoying the fresh air."

Mr English goes on to take a close look at some of Seaton's main attractions, including the Seaton Tramway, Seaton Wetlands and Seaton Jurassic with great accommodation and dining options.
