Have you ever wished you could wind back the clock? Undo a decision you've made and return to the crossroads in your life and take an alternative route? Since the dawn of the pandemic, there have been a few people thinking about this.

Local author and manager of The Gateway Theatre in Seaton, Sophia Moseley, ponders this questions in her first short story for adults, 'My Time Again'.

With several five-star ratings and great feedback within just a few days of publication in both e-book and paperback format, the story is proving a huge success with readers.

One of the reviews said: "This story pulled me right in from the beginning and I was intrigued with each clever change."

The story starts off with that unanswerable question of fate and destiny; many believe you can control and alter your destiny, but your fate is in the hands of someone, or something else.

Sophia explained: "I don't think there are many of us who haven't wondered 'what if', but then you ask yourself, if you were able to change things, what about the people who are now part of your life, what happens to them? Or will fate ensure their existence?"

An established feature writer, Sophia's work has appeared in many national and local magazines, and she writes a regular theatre column.

She has also written several biographies for private clients and, through her interviews, has heard many life stories, including from Duncan Bannatyne and cartoonist Steve 'Bestie' Best.

Sophia added: "I hope everyone enjoys My Time Again, maybe after reading it, you will change your own path."

'My Time Again' is published by Brindle Books Ltd, available in both eBook and paperback format via Amazon.
