Seaton Tramway defied the odds and celebrated record attendance at the Seaton Natural Festival, despite terrible weather on Saturday.

While many events were washed out on Saturday, and some musical performances moved inside the tram station, crowds turned out in force to support the festival on Sunday.

The event included live music from The Seatrees on Friday night and an Abba tribute on Saturday, as well as from the Lyme Luggers Ukulele Group and the Tano Taiko Drummers.

Food traders and local organisations set up stalls outside the tram station and on the Tesco plaza, and there were also plenty of activities to take part in, including beach art, nature activities and a dog show.

This is the second year Seaton Tramway has organised the Natural Seaton Festival, sponsored by Seaton Quay.

Seaton Tramway commented: "A massive thank you to all our visitors, vendors, volunteers, staff and sponsors who supported the festival this year!

"All though Saturday was rained off, it looks like a record attendance! We'll see you next year!"
