The latest crime figures for Seaton

The latest crime figures released by police show there were 52 crimes in the wider Seaton area during April 2022.

These figures are an increase from 27 crimes reported the previous month (March 2022), and 29 in the same month the previous year (April 2021).

From the 52 recorded incidents in April 2022, 33 took place in Seaton Town and 19 in Seaton Rural, which also covers Beer, Branscombe, Colyton, Colyford, Axmouth, Rousdon and surrounding areas.

In Seaton Town, crimes included 11 incidents of violence and sexual offences, 10 of anti-social behaviour, five of criminal damage and arson, and seven listed as 'other crime'.

In Seaton Rural, crimes included 11 incidents of violence and sexual offences, two of anti-social behaviour, two of criminal damage and arson, and four listed as 'other crime'.

Crime figures for May 2022 have not yet been released.
