Beer Action Group has raised £1,200 for end of life care service Seaton Hospiceare@Home by making and selling face masks.

Members of the action group, which was set up to co-ordinate a community response to the coronavirus pandemic, have been busy making masks and running a pop-up shop in the village in recent weeks.

The masks have raised £1,200, which has now been donated to Seaton Hospicecare@Home, an end of life care service for those wishing to remain at home, funded entirely by Seaton & District Hospital League of Friends.

The league would like to thank the action group for their continued support and special thanks to members Bev, Veronica, Sonia, Jennie, Pauline and Anne.

Face masks are still being made and are available at Beer Post Office and Village Stores for just £3 each, with all proceeds continuing to go to the Hospicecare@Home service.
