COVID-19: The latest case numbers and vaccination figures for Seaton

COVID-19 cases in the Seaton increased slightly in the week leading up to Christmas, according to the latest figures.

In the seven-day period up until Christmas Eve (December 24), there were 41 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Seaton, an increase of four on the previous week.

This means the case rate per 100,000 people was 542.0.

The figures for neighbouring areas up until December 24 were as follows:

Axminster – 65 (increase of 7)

Kilmington, Colyton & Uplyme – 35 (decrease of 11)

Lyme Regis, Charmouth & Marshwood Vale – 36 (decrease of 8)

Sidbury, Offwell & Beer – 22 (increase of 11)

Sidmouth Town – 21 (increase of 2)

Sidmouth Sidford – 36 (increase of 5)

Ottery St Mary & West Hill – 63 (increase of 23)

Honiton South & West – 13 (increase of 4)

Honiton North & East – 21 (decrease of 6)

Dunkeswell, Upottery & Stockland – 24 (increase of 4)

Chard West – 25 (increase of 1)

Chard North & East – 45 (increase of 10)

Tatworth & Combe St Nicholas – 29 (increase of 8)

Vaccination figures

The percentage of people aged 12+ in Seaton vaccinated up to and including December 28 can be found was as follows:

1st dose - 91.7%

2nd dose - 88.2%

Booster or 3rd dose - 76.8%
