Whitford Summer Show

A much loved fixture in the summer schedule, the annual Whitford Summer Show will be held this year on Saturday 5th August.

After an absence of 2 years following covid, last year's show was one of the best supported yet with the crowds enjoying glorious sunshine as well as the many exhibits on show. This year's show promises to be better than ever with a large selection of attractions the whole family can enjoy including the classic car display, local craft stalls, children's entertainment and face painting, Chard concert brass band and a fun dog show.

A highlight of the show is undoubtedly the marquee where exhibitors of all ages compete to showcase their culinary and horticultural skills resulting in a colourful range of floral displays, award winning vegetables and home baked goodies. Refreshments including teas and coffees, ice creams, a beer tent and Norcotts Cider will also be available for all to enjoy. The event, organised by the Whitford and District Village produce Association, supports local charities which over the last few years has amounted to £5500.

This year's event will be held on Saturday 5th August at Whitford Sports Field starting at 2pm. Car parking on site is available.
