Travelling away to bottom of the league Pen Mill, the Tigers didn't expect to much of a challenge. That really wasn't the case and both teams started fast, end-to-end attacks followed with George Manning in goal again keeping them at bay in his keeper-sweeper role.

UPLYME 1sts' away game at Netherbury was a rollercoaster of frustrations - from a hatful of missed chances, vast majority of possession, penalty decisions and disallowed goals.
Top scorer Alex Jones picked up an injury in the warm-up, but he started the game well, striking the post and pulling excellent saves from the keeper.

LYME Regis Reserves made an early exit from the Dorset Intermediate Cup at the Davey Fort yesterday (Saturday) when they lost 5-1 to a strong and robust Uplwey and Broadway.
Before the Lyme club moved into senior football in the Devon & Exeter League, they won the Dorset Intermediate Cup no fewer that nine occasions.
STORM Alex made several encores at Lyme Regis Golf Club and curtailed the October medal, so attention turned to the Ted Ray Putter, a seniors' stableford off white tees the following day.
The heady scoring of the previous week had disappeared and nobody beat par. However, Gareth Williams, Rod McNab and Andy West all came in on 35 points.

UPLYME 1sts continued their good form with some excellent passing football in their 5-0 home victory over Chard Rangers in Perry Street Division Two.
Tricky conditions failed to affect their free-flowing game as Finn Mclean unleashed a fantastic rising drive from the edge of the box to make it 1 - 0.
Axminster Reserves strengthened their position at the top of the Devon & Exeter League Division Two East with a 7-1 victory last night (Thursday) over close rivals Sidmouth Town 3rds.
With four games played, the Tigers now have a five-point lead at the top of the table over Sidmouth.
