Lyme Regis Reserves came through a tough test against Devon and Exeter Division One East competitors Lympstone but they came through with flying colours and a 2-0 victory.

Lympstone don't play football like a team sat rock-bottom of the league, and the Lyme players had to work incredibly hard and pull together to resist the pressure the visitors managed to create from the kick-off.

LYME Regis 1sts rotated their squad from the last clash against Devon & Exeter Premier East division leaders Feniton which, ended in 2-2 draw, with Joe bond, Dan Rendall, Kingsley Wellman and Mark Bailey dropping to the bench.

In came Brad Rowe, fit again, Ben Vine, Tom Bastin and Rikki Sargent, a tactic which seemed to pay immediate dividends as Lyme dominated the early exchanges, testing the Feniton goalkeeper early on.
