Axminster Under 12s 10,
The young Tigers played their last 11-a-side game before the holidays and came away with an emphatic win.Axe Cliff Golf Club Ladies, it would seem, really like the sun and some warmth whilst playing but last week was a little too much for most.
Last Wednesday was Anne Jarvis' Lady Captain's day and she did the girls proud. They were presented with a goodie bag at the first tee and learnt that they would be playing an individual Stableford but they also each had a colour.
Another indifferent batting display saw Seaton lose by eight wickets at home to leaders Bradninch and find themselves hovering above the relegation danger zone.
THE second round of the Lyme Regis Golf Club championship was won by Steve Mudford, seen here receiving the trophy from captain Arthur Danies .
Steve won the gross competition with a score of 148, with Jason Lindley coming second on 152 and Ian Mudford (Steve's brother) taking third place with 153.

ONLY Lyme Regis Bowling Club Ladies managed a league game last week as the Championship side had a free week whilst the League Two game was cancelled with the likelihood of being washed out.
The Ladies went down 2-8 to Greenhill despite early showing that they may have been able to win.
