A very wet morning led to a great day for some football. With Alex Jones taking on management duties for this week, the Uplyme second string carried over their great form from recent weeks starting strong, applying lots of pressure as a team, and working it from back to front.

Seaton Ladies had a free week and enjoyed a well deserved break after playing three games in seven days before hosting Plainmoor who were in great form having several subs and starting the game on the back of two wins.

Both teams were evenly matched. Seaton started sluggish and struggled to link up through the channels. Plainmoor picked up some second balls in the middle of the park and managed to win a corner. Unfortunately for Seaton, Plainmoor managed to covert the corner into a goal, leading 1-0.

AVERAGING around 19, what Uplyme Reserves lacked in experience they made up for in energy, passion and tactics to win 5 - 4 and claim two wins in a row in Perry Street Division 3.

Against a very experienced Kingsbury Episcopi team, unbeaten in the division, they took an early lead through a coolly-taken goal from Connor Tate, after a great ball out of defence from Daley Holmes, who is working his way back from an injury.

ALTHOUGH they were beaten 1-0 the week before, but having enjoyed most of the play, Lyme Regis Reserves travelled to Exmouth Rovers on Saturday confident that they could beat the Devon and Exeter Division One East leaders in the return fixture.

But yet again, lady luck deserted them with Exmouth taking the lead after just two minutes with a penalty decision that the Lyme management team of Nick Tregale and Darren Stewart, thought was harsh.
