It was a busy week for Axe Cliff Ladies with a few competing in the Devon County Seniors Championship at Okehampton .

Putting her professional training to good use was Stella Thompson, who came an excellent second, with most of the top ten coming from the home club - well done Stella.

THE 63rd open tournament is under way at Lyme Regis Bowling Club, but with greatly reduced numbers of competitors.

JUST one Lyme Regis Bowling Club this week - the result  from the Dorset Women's Bowls League.

The format for this league has changed from the usual 'rinks' format to a 'triples' league. This change was made because of the ongoing pandemic and, will not entail any promotion or relegation this season.

Lyme bowlers back in action

Lyme Regis Bowling Club members are back in action,  albeit with some restrictions.

So far the club as managed managed three friendlies against Axminster, Severalls and Topsham. The first two games were played with number restrictions, but the game at Topsham was played with a full compliment. Unfortunately, the game against South Petherton was called off due to the inclement May weather.
