THE 63rd open tournament is under way at Lyme Regis Bowling Club, but with greatly reduced numbers of competitors.

Until Monday, the weather has been kind, if not all that warm with the rest of the week looking to be an improving situation. A full list of results will appear in next week's LymeOnline.

Lyme Regis will be hosting the quarter and semi-finals of the men's county pairs on Sunday, July 4.  Spectators are welcome to what should be a feast of bowling from the county's best bowlers.

Just one match to report, that being a fine win by Lyme Ladies in their League One fixture at home to Sherborne.

Result

Lyme 50; Sherborne 37

Ann Allman, Helen Dowling and Pam Weech 12-13; Nicky Driscoll, Alex Darvill and Angela Rattenbury 17-10;  Judith Moffitt, Nola Stephens and Lesley Broom 21-14.
