East Devon residents on lower incomes who cannot work from home and have lost income as a result of being told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace will be able to access a payment of £500 each time they are required to self-isolate.

Recognising that self-isolation is one of the most powerful tools for controlling the transmission of COVID-19, this new Test and Trace Support payment will ensure that those on low incomes are able to self-isolate without worrying about their finances.

Seaton Tramway which has received government heritage funding off £435,000 in its 50th anniversary year to help it recover from covid-19

Seaton Tramway is one of 445 heritage organisations across the country set to receive a lifesaving financial boost from the government thanks to the £1.57billion Culture Recovery Fund to help them through the coronavirus pandemic.

The award of £435,100 will directly support wages, major overheads such as track and tram maintenance and the creation of new offers and opportunities with world class partners and exhibitions.
