Every GP practice in Devon will have a vaccination site in operation by the end of the week as the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines gathers pace.

Four more sites will come on board, in addition to the 16 already operational, Dr Paul Johnson, chairman of the Devon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), told Thursday's Team Devon Local Outbreak Engagement Board meeting.

Planning permission for the regeneration scheme was approved by EDDC in 2017

District and town councillor Marcus Hartnell has expressed his "extreme" disappointment that the Seaton seafront regeneration plans have stalled, calling for the project to be "kept alive".

In a posting on social media today, Cllr Hartnell, who as well as being a town councillor represents Seaton on East Devon District Council, said: "Seaton town councillors, myself included, now need to review the project, taking time to understand and learn from mistakes that have been made, and to consider all options to keep the project alive."

The 'missing link' - the land Devon County Council will compulsory purchase to complete the Seaton to Colyford cycle path

Devon County Council is to proceed with a compulsory purchase Order (CPO) to complete the Stop Line Way cycle route through Seaton Wetlands.

Seaton county councillor Martin Shaw has revealed that the CPO will be advertised this week and, if successful, will complete the 'missing link' on the Seaton to Colyford multi-use path following unsuccessful negotiations with landowners.

A local, online, ethical food shop launched in Branscombe during the COVID-19 pandemic has now started a home delivery service across East Devon.

In My Back Yard (IMBY) launched its ethical food shop in April 2020 as an emergency response to the pandemic. After two years of planning and preparation, it had been due to launch in the summer but was called into action sooner than expected.
